Frame them, if you don't want to hide your stitching inside of a book... each measures a mere 1-3/4 x 7-1/2 inches stitched on 14/28ct. Offered as kits, these do come with a piece of 14ct Aida Banding, a little cotton tassel, and felt backing piece... so you may want to change out the stitching material -- but it won't take much! Powell's charming design style... choose from 4 different designs! Venice is a view from the Grand Canal, with those charming striped pilings. Greek Island is straight from Santorini! Misty Town features a European castle up in the hills, and Spanish Hill Town looks old and charming! I'd never get through one of the larger pieces Michael Powell designs... but I sure can finish one of these!!! European Villages Artist Michael Powell has been charting his delightfully whimsical houses and village scenes for a few years now.. but is finally offering his creativity in chart form, rather than full kits... and we are THRILLED! So many charming design elements in each piece... I love the snowcapped roofs of the Winter Village set, the cobblestones in the Summer Set, and the heart-shaped street lamps of the Venice Set! Offered as charts, each finishes the same size, approx 7 x 8 on a 28ct. Stitched in whole crosses, what gives these so much flavor are the bright colors, and the displaced backstitch. You get lots of crooked little lines and shapes, lots of fun interest, lots of 'relaxing' buildings... I just love all of these!!! They fit my idea of the perfect little bustling European Village -- right out of a picture book!
